Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team in a part-time role. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help deliver safe, high-quality patient care and support daily operations in the Retail Pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and customer service, with opportunities to participate in patient care programs and professional development.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensure safe and effective retail pharmacy environment
• Lead patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and customer service
• Assist with inventory and workflow management excluding final prescription verification
• Engage in patient care programs to support health outcomes
