Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team in a part-time capacity. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment, helping patients with their prescriptions and care plans.

This role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality customer service, while you gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced health-care setting and develop professional skills for your future career.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment required.
• 0–3 years relevant work experience.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and timelines.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support Retail Pharmacy operations.
• Contribute to patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and customer service.
• Support inventory management and workflow in the pharmacy.
