Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will contribute to safe, patient-centered care and support a high-quality retail pharmacy environment.

The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning inventory management, quality assurance, and customer service. This is a part-time internship with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Accepted into or actively enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe

Responsibilities

Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers and colleagues
Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver safe and effective care
Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance in daily operations
Assist with inventory management and workflow support excluding final prescription verification
