Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Counsels patients, answers questions about medication usage, side effects, interactions, and referrals when needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies; assists with opening/closing and shift changes.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and supports staff in using them effectively.
• Reviews insurance claims, follows up with insurers and medical providers to resolve issues and prevent denials.
• Provides immunizations, flu shots, diabetes awareness, and other preventive health services.
