Qualifications

• Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
• Pharmacist licensure in the states within the district within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on proper medication use, side effects and drug interactions while protecting patient privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and dispensing as workload requires.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and policies, supporting efficient workflow and shift duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems (Intercom Plus, registers, automation, StoreNET) and proposes enhancements.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with payers and providers to minimize rejections.
• Delivers preventive care services such as immunizations and health screenings (flu shots, diabetes awareness).
• Supports manager with staff training, performance coaching and development of team.
• Engages with local medical community and participates in outreach to promote pharmacy services.
• Collaborates with Central Pharmacy Operations for patient registration and third-party reviews in various settings.
