Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from respective Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications and privacy; refers to medical provider as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations and policies; assists manager with workflow and opening/closing duties.
