Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; supports workflow.
• Manages opening/closing duties and assists pharmacy manager.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and supports staff.
• Processes and follows up on insurance claims with payers and providers.
• Administers immunizations and wellness services; promotes patient care.
