Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage of medicines, side effects, interactions, and safety; refers to provider as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures operations comply with regulations and company policies; assists with procedures for efficient workflow.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and proposes enhancements to promote productivity.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and follows up with providers and insurers.
• Delivers immunization and preventive health services and supports clinical and retail services.
