• Experience performing prescription dispensing with knowledge of controlled substances laws.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC options.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and supports pharmacy workflow optimization.
• Opens/closes the pharmacy and handles shift change duties.
• Maintains pharmacy systems and processes to promote productivity.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and resolves issues.
• Provides immunizations and preventive health services as needed.
• Maintains relationships with healthcare providers and engages in community outreach.
