Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and generics.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures; assist in workflow optimization.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with payers/providers to prevent denials.
• Provide immunizations and preventive healthcare services as required.
