Job summary

You will collaborate with store leadership to optimize workflow, inventory, and financial performance while maintaining strong ties with the local medical community and participating in community health

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in district states within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and patient privacy.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and efficient workflow, assist with opening/closing and shift changes.
• Promote Good Faith Dispensing and comply with state/federal drug laws.
• Maintain pharmacy systems knowledge (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and support staff.
• Process insurance claims and resolve issues with providers and payers.
• Deliver immunizations and preventive health services like flu shots and diabetes awareness.
• Analyze performance data with managers and support asset protection and inventory management.
• Build relationships with local medical community and engage in community outreach.
• Coordinate with Central Pharmacy Operations for 3rd party reviews and customer resolution.
