Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care in our retail pharmacy. You will counsel patients, review prescriptions, perform compounding and drug therapy reviews, and ensure accurate dispensing in compliance with regulations and company policy.

Responsibilities include immunizations and preventive health services, managing store operations, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes while delivering exceptional customer

Qualifications

Willingness to obtain Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects and interactions.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews and medication management.
Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; opens/closes pharmacy.
Uses pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) to support staff and customers.
Provides immunizations and preventive health services to customers.
