Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to provide customer service, process and fill prescriptions, and support clinical services.

You will interact with patients in person and by phone, handle third-party functions, and assist with inventory management at the Meijer Pharmacy. The role requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school and a state-appropriate Pharmacy Intern License, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Customer service.
Communicating with patients in person and via telephone; assist with product selection and pricing requests.
Processing and filling prescriptions.
Using pharmacy computer systems for data entry and third party adjudication; stocking and labeling prescriptions, Will Call processing.
Perform third-party functions.
Inventory management and ordering.
Update balance on hand, vendor chargebacks, transfers, and salvage.
Provide clinical services as trained.
