This part-time internship emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork, with opportunities to develop professional skills while supporting inventory and workflow processes.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Patient safety in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Pharmacy professional practice under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Support quality assurance initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist inventory management and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification).
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver care.
