Job summary

CVS Health in Phoenix, AZ seeks a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the retail pharmacy team. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help deliver authentic care, support patient safety, and contribute to daily operations.

This position emphasizes learning, professional development, and exposure to regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, with opportunities to advance clinical and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining a valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to help maintain a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment that delivers exceptional care to patients.
• Focus on patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification).
• Lead with heart by showing empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Seek opportunities to grow, collaborate, and deliver better outcomes.
