Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the retail pharmacy team. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will contribute to patient safety, pharmacy practice, and regulatory compliance while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead with empathy, collaborate with teammates, and support care programs to improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Enrolment in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Ability to attend regularly (nights/weekends) and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care programs under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with inventory management and workflow within the pharmacy.
• Provide customer service and patient education as part of the pharmacy team.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
