Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Pharmacy Intern to learn and assist the pharmacist and team in delivering excellent patient experiences and safe, compliant prescription processing. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and help with dispensing under supervision.

Engage customers, build relationships, and participate in counseling and health services within state scope, while supporting store operations and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, offering assistance and ensuring a positive experience.
• Assists pharmacist and team in processing prescriptions under supervision.
• Supports inventory management and adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Participates in patient counseling and health services within state scope of practice.
• Reports prescription errors promptly and helps maintain accurate records.
