Job summary

Responsibilities

• Consults with health care practitioners to establish high quality patient drug therapy plans and outcomes.
• Monitors patients to ensure therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse drug effects.
• Contacts and confers with the prescriber to clarify and answer questions regarding drug product selection to facilitate appropriate patient outcomes.
• Performs pharmaceutical duties including filling prescriptions/orders, compounding medications, and supervising personnel.
• Demonstrates knowledge of department mission and complies with policies and procedures; supports continuous quality improvement and inventory control.
