Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and team in delivering patient care and a positive customer experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will learn to process prescriptions and use pharmacy systems while following state and federal regulations.

You will participate in training, engage customers, and help maintain store operations, including inventory and merchandising in the pharmacy area.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist and team to provide patient care and customer service.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Adheres to pharmacy policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Maintains merchandising and inventory support in the pharmacy area.
