Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our retail pharmacy team in Montgomery, Alabama. You will apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice under a preceptor, learning SOPs, patient safety, and effective teamwork. The role emphasizes patient care, immunizations, and hands-on experience across store operations.

You will gain exposure to pharmacy workflows, take part in patient counseling, and grow toward increased responsibilities within CVS Health’s pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment or admission.
• Active intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in patient care.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and ensure safety and accuracy of dispensing.
• Support immunizations and patient counseling within scope and supervision.
• Gather patient information and assist with medication history when appropriate.
• Assist with inventory tasks and store operations under pharmacy leadership.
