Job summary

CVS Health in Athens, Alabama is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for a part-time role. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service.

You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, engage in immunizations where allowed, assist with inventory, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while upholding SOPs and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment or acceptance.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling under supervision.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Participate in inventory activities and store-based tasks as directed.
