Job summary

OhioHealth in Mansfield is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Intern for Mansfield Hospital. The intern must hold an intern license and work every other weekend, participate in holiday rotation, and take additional hours during breaks.

Under supervision, you will gain practical experience in pharmacy operations, learning to perform duties under a licensed pharmacist and advancing toward licensure. This role supports patient care in a high reliability environment.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing licensure as a Registered Pharmacist or intern in Ohio.
• Intern registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, prepare, and label pharmacy products according to department policy.
• Review orders for patient care under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist in billing, documentation, and inventory management.
• Maintain inventory to ensure efficient distribution.
• Provide information to healthcare professionals and customers via phone or in person.
• Submit medication charge data for reimbursement.
• Assist in training technicians, externs, and interns.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
