The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Certified Technician to support pharmacists and ensure accurate medication processing in a retail setting. You will assist with MTM services, maintain HIPAA compliance, and help train and supervise pharmacy associates during shifts.

Responsibilities include following safety and sanitation standards, supporting customer service excellence, and adhering to state requirements for licensure, immunization certification, and intern registration.

Competenze

• 1 year of retail experience.
• Completion of national and/or state intern registration, certification or licensure depending upon state requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school program; certified or ability to be certified in immunizations.

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures according to health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Act as pharmacy safety subject matter expert through coaching to correctness as appropriate.
• Support workflow and pharmacist oversight through shift leadership and delegation.
• Ensure execution of department standards by leading by example.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
• Provide day-to-day training support for pharmacy associates and assist new techs through the technician training program.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration/certification/licensure per state requirements.
• Adhere to guidelines on tendering electronic fund transactions and cash transactions.
• Enter patient information accurately and efficiently; perform post fill audits and assist MTM services.
• Reinforce safety programs and report hazards or accidents.
