Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience.
• National or State Intern Registration / Licensure as required by state.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school program; certified or able to be certified in immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and health code guidelines; notify management of unsafe conditions.
• Serve as pharmacy safety SME by coaching for correctness.
• Support workflow and pharmacist oversight through shift leadership.
• Lead by example to ensure department standards are met.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require professional judgement.
• Be willing and able to perform all essential job functions of a Pharmacy Technician.
• Understand HIPAA regulations and company policies on HIPAA.
• Support Health and Wellness initiatives.
• Maintain current state or national registration/certification as required.
• Train pharmacy associates and support technicians through the training program.
• Represent store in meetings/huddles when needed.
• Comply with regulations; report illegal activity (robbery, theft, fraud).
• Follow guidelines on tendering electronic funds and cash transactions.
• Enter patient information accurately and perform post-fill audits; assist MTM services.
• Reinforce safety programs, inspect equipment, and notify management of repairs or accidents.
