Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world store operations. Under a pharmacist preceptor, you’ll complete a comprehensive training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, and help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care.

You will gain hands‑on experience across store, district, and regional operations, while learning SOPs and contributing to a safe and inclusive culture within CVS Health.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy teams to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Assist with immunizations and clinical services where allowed by state law.
• Learn SOPs and participate in standard operating procedures for patient safety.
• Provide empathetic customer service and maintain a caring store environment.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians and store leadership for daily operations.
• Participate in training roadmap and related learning experiences.
