Job summary

CVS Health in Rhode Island is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to prepare you for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you'll complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days after graduation, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You'll learn to apply your didactic learnings to real-world practice, assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, and follow SOPs while delivering caring service.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentration and focus to complete tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Counsel patients and collect medical history when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Support immunizations and vaccines where allowed by law and required training
