Job summary

CVS Health, a leading healthcare company, seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern in Rhode Island to apply didactic learning to real-world pharmacy practice and support our pharmacy teams.

Under a preceptor, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap, deepen your understanding of patient safety, SOPs, and error prevention, and progressively take on greater responsibilities while delivering compassionate care to patients.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a US accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn SOPs, best practices, and maintain patient safety and service quality.
• Provide empathy and caring service while supporting patient needs and inquiries.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs as required.
