Job summary

Ochsner LSU Health in Louisiana seeks a Pharmacy Intern to assist in preparing IV admixtures and other extemporaneous compounds using aseptic technique and proper procedures. You will maintain stock in the IV room and central pharmacy, fill medication orders, and enter ADR data, while demonstrating professional growth and compliance with privacy and safety standards.

Must be enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy or be a NABP FPGEE graduate with a current Pharmacy Intern Permit; travel

Qualifications

• Enrolled in good standing in an accredited College of Pharmacy or graduate who has successfully passed NABP Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination
• Current Pharmacy Intern Permit from the State Board of Pharmacy to practice as a pharmacy intern
• Experience using standard Pharmacy and office equipment
