Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver medications under supervision, maintain dispensing machines, and support the pharmacy workflow. You will review orders, compound IV admixtures, and enter data in the pharmacy system.

Required are a HS diploma and current Pharmacy Technician Certification. Preferred is 1 year hospital experience; travel between facilities and a flexible schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification is required.
• Preferred hospital pharmacy experience (1 year).
• Strong data entry and computer skills are needed.
• Ability to travel between facilities with a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Fills medication orders, charges/credits all medication, stocks, delivers, and inspects assigned areas.
• Prepares IV admixtures and other extemporaneous compounds and enters related orders into the computer system.
• Maintains competency in professional growth and responsibilities.
• Adapts communication style to diverse patient and care teams.
• May perform other related duties as required.
