Job summary

Ochsner LSU Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to participate in compounding IV admixtures and other extemporaneous preparations using aseptic techniques. The role requires enrollment in a College of Pharmacy and a current pharmacy intern permit.

You will handle medication orders, maintain stock across IV rooms and central pharmacy, and enter data accurately while complying with privacy and regulatory standards. Travel between facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy or graduate who has passed NABP Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination
• Experience with standard pharmacy and office equipment preferred
• Current Pharmacy Intern Permit from the State Board of Pharmacy required to practice as a pharmacy intern in the state of practice
