Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD degree.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations and policies; aids in efficient workflow and shift duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and suggests enhancements to promote productivity.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with payers and providers; supports third-party audits.
• Conducts immunizations and preventive health services as part of wellness offerings.

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree
