Walgreens in Carmel, IN is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication counseling, ensure accurate dispensing, and support immunization services within regulatory guidelines.

You will partner with store leadership to optimize workflow, manage inventory, and improve patient experience while upholding safety and privacy standards.

Experience with Intercom Plus and StoreNET is a plus; a PharmD and state licensure within 90 days are required.

Formación

• Willingness to obtain a Pharm D degree before start.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and quality of care.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations, policies, and standards; assists in workflow optimization.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, registers, automation, StoreNET) and proposes enhancements.
• Processes insurance claims accurately and follows up with providers as needed.
