Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy; refers to medical provider as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures operations comply with regulations and company policies; assists with efficient workflow and shift duties.
• Keeps knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports enhancements to promote productivity.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with providers to prevent payment rejections.
• Delivers immunizations and preventive health services such as flu shots and diabetes awareness.
• Analyzes performance data with management and supports inventory protection and KPI tracking.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and participates in outreach to promote pharmacy services.
