Job summary

CVS Health is seeking 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to support pharmacy teams in our retail locations, delivering on the brand promise while building skills for greater responsibility. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap, assist with immunizations, counseling, prescription fulfillment, and participate in workflow across production, drive-thru, and pickup.

Requires enrollment in ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and intern/licensure; part-time schedule with potential travel within

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs.
• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers where allowed.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist with routine pharmacy operations.
• Provide immunization support where allowed.
