Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and generics; refers to provider as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Maintains regulatory compliance, supports workflow, and assists in opening/closing the pharmacy and shift changes.
• Uses Good Faith Dispensing policy with state/federal laws and supports insurance processing; follows up with insurers and providers.
