Formación

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state boards within the district within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and privacy considerations.
• Performs dispensing, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management tasks.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; supports pharmacy manager in workflow and inventory management.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems knowledge and proposes enhancements to promote productivity.
• Handles insurance claims processing and follows up with providers to resolve issues.
• Delivers retail, clinical and wellness services including immunizations and diabetes awareness.
