Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team, applying didactic learning to real-world practice and completing a 120‑day training roadmap under a preceptor and district leadership. You will support safe, efficient pharmacy operations and patient care while preparing for future pharmacist responsibilities.

Under supervision, you will learn SOP adherence, immunization services, and clinical workflow, while developing skills in patient counseling, medication history

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days may lead to separation of employment
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians with patient care
• Support immunizations, pharmacovigilance, and prescription fulfillment accuracy
• Counsel patients, answer medical questions, and obtain relevant medical history under supervision
• Assist in telephonic prescriptions and coordinate with prescribers when needed
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts and maintain patient safety through accurate documentation
