Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice within CVS stores. You will follow a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap under a preceptor and district leadership, focusing on safe, efficient prescription processing and patient care.

As you gain tenure, you will support management of pharmacy operations, SOP compliance, and opportunities to contribute to immunizations and clinical services while building readiness for a Pharmacist

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines; 120 days to obtain licensure

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain patient safety and privacy
• Support immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law
• Provide counseling and information gathering on patient medical history to support care decisions
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain a compliant and efficient workflow
• Participate in training roadmap and mentorship under a licensed pharmacist
