Job summary

TriHealth is seeking currently enrolled pharmacy students for a PRN internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Under supervision, you will perform technical tasks in a hospital drug distribution system and IV admixture program while gaining real-world experience.

This opportunity requires ongoing enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy, Ohio Pharmacy Intern registration, and is not eligible for TriHealth benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and actively enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy
• Must be currently enrolled in an Accredited Pharmacy School
• Registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs technical and clerical duties for the unit-dose drug distribution system and IV admixture program
• Pre-fills patient cassette drawers with a 24-hour supply of unit dose medications and assists in procuring and filling pharmaceutical supplies
• Delivers supplies to nursing units and maintains confidential reports in the computer system
