Job summary

Equitas Health Pharmacy, part of Equitas Health, is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist the Pharmacy Manager and pharmacists in daily operations and patient care. You will support patient recruitment and retention with emphasis on Equitas Health Medical Center and 340B patients, while ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will engage with medical providers to share pharmaceutical information, transfer prescriptions under supervision, and contribute to group presentations and outreach efforts

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a pharmacy program and pursuing an Ohio intern license.
• Ohio internship license in good standing is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacists in daily operations.
• Support patient recruitment and retention for Equitas Health Pharmacy and 340B contracted providers.
• Provide pharmaceutical information to patients and providers under supervision.
• Transfer prescriptions in and out of the pharmacy under supervising pharmacist guidance.
• Engage with medical staff to deliver pharmaceutical care and education.
