Job summary

Equitas Health Pharmacy, a unit of Equitas Health, is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacists in daily operations, patient recruitment and ensuring regulatory compliance. The intern will engage with medical providers to provide pharmaceutical information and assist with prescription transfers.

This paid internship offers exposure to retail and specialty pharmaceuticals, 340B contracting, and community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy program and Ohio intern license in good standing.
• Willing to obtain MTM, immunization certifications as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to patients, providers, community members, and referral sources.
• Collaborate with Equitas Health Medical Center providers to optimize health outcomes.
• Provide medication therapy management and immunization services as allowed by law.
• Promote pharmacy services and ensure access to prescribed medications.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws.
