Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD program.
• Possess a valid Ohio Pharmacy Intern License or be eligible to obtain one prior to employment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in preparation, dispensing, record keeping, counseling, and delivery of medications using proper aseptic technique and accurate documentation.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures and other sterile products.
• Compound medications using proper technique and calculations.
• Assist pharmacist in filling orders/prescriptions.
• Prepare sterile products; label medications and maintain records as required by policies and law.
• Provide drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Prepare and restock drugs for automated dispensing cabinets.
• Perform clinical duties under supervision, including medication reconciliation and patient rounds when directed.
• Assist in inventory management and non-formulary processing.
