Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to support patients, pharmacists, interns, technicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Communicates effectively with caregivers and stakeholders regarding responsibilities and concerns.
• Under supervision of licensed pharmacist, performs essential duties and checks for accuracy.
• Provides patient education/counseling under supervision and seeks feedback for improvement.
• Supports financial responsibilities of the department and Intermountain Health.
• Delivers medications and information in a timely manner and participates in team goals.
• Engages in quality improvement activities and promotes best practices.
• Serves as a preceptor and mentor for technicians to help achieve competency.
• Complies with state/federal laws and internal policies relevant to practice location.
