Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must enroll or be enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician training program per state guidelines.
• Utah: Must apply for Pharmacy Technician Trainee License within four weeks of hire date and obtain within eight weeks of hire.
• Colorado: Must apply for provisional Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Montana: Must apply for a provisional Pharmacy Technician Trainee License.
• Idaho: No training license required.
• Nevada: Must apply for Pharmacy Technician Trainee License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medication orders and receive prescriptions.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with billing.
• Stock medication and deliver medication to patients.
• Support patients, pharmacists, pharmacy students, other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with caregivers and stakeholders.
• Receive guidance from licensed pharmacists to verify tasks and ensure accurate, timely care.
