Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world practice within CVS Pharmacy locations. Under a licensed pharmacist preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap to learn store, district, and regional operations and deliver safe, accurate prescriptions.

This part-time internship focuses on developing clinical and technical skills, immunizations, and customer service while adhering to SOPs and maintaining patient safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Acceptance into, or enrollment in, ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following SOPs to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient health
• Supporting pharmacy workflow for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Counseling patients and assisting with immunizations where allowed by state law under supervision
• Delivering patient care with empathy and maintaining patient privacy and safety
• Assisting with inventory and ensuring timely prescription processing

ACPE-accredited pharmacy program
