Job summary

CVS Health is offering a part-time pharmacy intern position in Garner, NC. As a 3rd year intern, you will support the pharmacy team under supervision to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care and help manage the dispensing workflow.

You'll gain hands‑on experience in patient safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service while developing your communication skills and professional practice. Weekend availability and ACPE enrollment are required.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy: accepted into or actively enrolled.
• 0–3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart—demonstrate empathy for patients and colleagues.
• Support pharmacy team in daily operations and customer service.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with inventory and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.
