Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for an on-site, part-time role in Duncanville, TX. You will support pharmacy operations, learn under a licensed pharmacist, and help ensure timely, safe prescription fulfillment while providing caring service to patients.

The position emphasizes hands-on training within CVS SOPs, patient interaction, and inventory tasks, with opportunities to expand responsibilities as you progress toward a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred in pharmacy, retail, or customer service settings.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients, answer medical questions, and escalate issues under pharmacist supervision.
• Support inventory activities and pharmacy workflow to ensure high levels of patient service.
