CVS Health seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings within CVS Pharmacy locations. You will work under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap that exposes you to store, district, and regional operations while gaining hands-on experience on a pharmacy team.

Responsibilities include supporting safe prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, immunization support where allowed, and ongoing learning of clinical and technical practices.

Competenze

• Enrollment in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Mansioni

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians with patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations and services where permitted.
• Counsel patients and gather medical history information when appropriate under supervision.
• Receive telephonic prescriptions and clarify with the prescriber when allowed by state regulation.
• Assist with inventory activities and support leadership with cycle counts and returns.
