Job summary

CVS Health, a leader in transforming health care, seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, learn store, district, and regional operations, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians in patient care.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and customer service at pharmacy workflow stations.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision and obtain medical history information.
• Participate in inventory and safety procedures as directed by leadership.
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and off-site clinical services as allowed by state law.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure in process or possession
