Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program at our retail locations. You will apply didactic training to real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a 120‑day training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn about patient safety, DUR, professional standards, and SOPs while supporting the pharmacy team to deliver safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Support immunization services and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by state regulations.
• Take telephonic prescriptions, seek clarifications from prescribers when needed, and ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive culture and support training and mentoring of team members
